Schedule and Themes that will be covered
We are excited to make an announcement about our three-week Bootcamp, which will help you find a job in the UK. We will cover a variety of themes. Please find below the information regarding each lecture. We will have 2 lectures per week, 6 in total; the lecture duration is 1 hour, and at the end of each meeting, you can ask your questions regarding the theme.
4 March at 18:00 – Lecture 1 – UK Job Search Strategy
We will discuss building your job strategy tailored to the UK job market, establishing your mindset so you can be successful, setting career goals and creating a real timetable to reach these goals. At the end of the session, you will be able to ask your questions.
5 March at 18:00 – Lecture 2 – Creating a Strong Candidate Profile
We will guide you through creating a strong CV and cover letters, as well as how to find your unique strengths and sell yourself. At the end of the session, you will be able to ask your questions.
11 March at 18:00 – Lecture 3 – Researching and Applying for Roles that Sponsor Visas
This session is designed to help you understand how to apply for jobs effectively, how to look for the companies that sponsor your visa and how to find visa-sponsored jobs. At the end of the session, you will be able to ask your questions.
12 March at 18:00 – Lecture 4 – LinkedIn & Networking
In this session, we want to share how to network, how to use LinkedIn to maximise your chances of getting an interview, and how to create a perfect LinkedIn profile. At the end of the session, you will be able to ask your questions.
18 March at 18:00 – Lecture 5 – Interview Skills
This lecture is intended to walk you through the interview process, how to answer motivation and strengths-based questions in interviews, how to prepare for an interview effectively, and recorded video interviews in the UK. At the end of the session, you will be able to ask your questions.
19 March at 18:00 – Lecture 6 – Interview Skills and Visa+Salary Negotiations
Our last meeting will cover competency-based questions during the interview and how to discuss offers and visa sponsorship correctly. We will summarise a session with your plan and next steps after Bootcamp. At the end of the session, you will be able to ask your questions.
